- We are seeking a technically strong and strategically minded Engineering Research Analyst to support technology cooperation initiatives—including mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and joint ventures (JV)—with a focus on advanced engineering domains.
- This role is ideal for candidates with a solid background in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, chemical engineering, or related disciplines, who are eager to apply their technical expertise to strategic business development.
- Conduct technical and strategic research on emerging technologies, industry trends, and potential partner companies in high-tech equipment sectors
- Identify and profile high-potential companies for technology cooperation (e.g., M&A, JV), with a focus on engineering innovation and product synergy
- Support early-stage technical evaluation and preliminary due diligence, including assessment of proprietary technologies, product portfolios, and R&D capabilities
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to analyze compatibility of systems, components, and manufacturing processes
- Evaluate potential integration challenges and opportunities from a technical standpoint (e.g., process alignment, IP, engineering talent, production scalability)
- Track project timelines and ensure alignment with both engineering milestones and strategic goals
- Provide engineering-focused support to the M&A Director when required, including technical analysis of target companies, review of product and technology fit, documentation of engineering assessments, and participation in strategic discussions related to technology integration and innovation potential
- Participate in internal discussions related to technology partnerships, product development strategy, and long-term innovation planning
- Business trips are required, including visits to potential partner companies, trade shows, and internal global sites
- Degree/Master in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-tech equipment or systems (e.g., semiconductor manufacturing tools, precision instruments, scientific testing equipment, medical diagnostic equipment, energy systems, chemical processing equipment)
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand and evaluate complex engineering systems and emerging technologies
- Experience in technology scouting, technical due diligence, or strategic evaluation is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations
- Interest in M&A, JV, and strategic cooperation projects; prior experience is beneficial but not required
- 13-month salary + performance bonus
