- 3–10 years in a quota-carrying upsell or account-expansion role at an institutional SaaS vendor (ideally investment- or operations-focused)
- Demonstrated track record of consistently hitting or exceeding annual expansion targets (10–20% growth per book)
- Deep comfort negotiating renewals, add-ons and pilot projects
- Hands-on knowledge of front-, middle- and back-office workflows: portfolio/P&L, order management, data-feeds, risk & compliance, reporting, etc.
- Ability to diagnose gaps in clients’ processes and map CWAN products (OMS, PM, risk, accounting, analytics) to solve them
- Familiarity with APAC markets and partner ecosystem conventions (Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Mainland China)
- C-suite-level presence: proven ability to build trust with COOs, CEOs, Heads of Trading, and CIOs
- Skilled at unearthing “hidden” stakeholders (IT, operations, legal) to broaden ownership circle
- Empathy and cultural IQ to navigate multi-language, multi-time-zone workstyles
- Crafts ROI-driven business cases (TCO savings, risk reduction, AUM scale) in partnership with Clients and CWAN Solutions Engineers
- Executes structured account plans: opportunity mapping, competitive analysis, pipeline management in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM)
- Leads product demos, workshops and executive workshops—tailoring messaging to each function’s KPIs
- Excellent data-analysis chops to spot expansion triggers in usage metrics (module adoption rates, log-in frequency, support tickets)
- Comfortable running quarterly business reviews and surfacing “white-space” for cross-sell
- Sharp project-management discipline to see scaled upsells through to smooth delivery
- Superb presentation and storytelling skills—fluent in English; Mandarin or Cantonese a strong plus; any other APAC language welcome
- Team player who partners tightly with Sales, Account Management, Product and Marketing to align on messaging, competitive intel and enablement needs
- Resilient follow-up style: persistent but never pushy
- True self-starter with an entrepreneurial bent—thrives in a fast-moving, global growth environment
- Solutions-oriented mindset: views every “no” as a doorway to learn and re-pitch smarter

- Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, Engineering or Computer Science; MBA or CFA is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 20–30% across APAC
