This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.Responsibilities
Bridge communications between IT and business to ensure alignment of technical solutions to business goals
Ensure solution architecture finds a balance between company-wide strategic needs and short-term tactical needs
Ensure solution architecture is well integrated holistically and well regarded by stakeholders i.e. lines of business (LOBs), IT development / infrastructure / operations, and ensure compliance with governance processes
Drive the enterprise architecture and roadmap definition, including standards and policies, target state blueprints, and roadmap for the relevant domain
Work closely and collaborate with other architects to align the enterprise architecture strategy (for all business and technology domains)
Lead analysis of the current IT environment to identify critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
Keep abreast of the latest trends in technology, industry, and corresponding business domain, analyze market trends to determine their potential impact on the company architecture landscape
Support continuous improvement of HKAA Architecture Practice
QualificationsRequirements:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines
Minimum 6 years of IT experience with at least 2 years solution architecture experience
TOGAF certification is preferred
Proficient knowledge and working experience in at least one of the domains: application & integration, customer experience, or aviation business
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environment
Experience in Agile Architecture / DevOps is an advantage
Being a motivated, self-driven individual and an experienced consultant with IT solution design background
Excellent breadth of thinking, being able to provide pragmatic solutions that consider all relevant technical, financial, organizational, risk or capacity-based constraints
Understanding of aviation business and processes is an advantage
Excellent command of English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
