  • Lead and develop the Human Resources function, acting as a trusted advocate for employees to drive meaningful policy and cultural improvements.
  • Develop and operate HR systems designed to energize and activate the workforce.
  • Oversee the broader corporate functions, including Finance and IT (either directly as a GM or as a development goal for a Manager-level hire).
  • Serve as a key strategic advisor to senior leadership on all corporate and cultural matters.
  • Mentor and guide teams, fostering a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
  • Proactively identify challenges within the organization and execute strategic solutions.
Requirements:
  • An empathetic, approachable, and influential personality
  • 10 years or above experience in strategic Human Resources, with a focus on project-based initiatives over routine tasks.
  • Ideally, candidates will have senior leadership experience (e.g., as a General Manager) with a broad, practical understanding of Finance, HR, and IT.
  • For senior-level consideration, being a Hong Kong national with deep knowledge of the local business culture is required.
  • Candidates with a strong HR background and demonstrable ambition to grow into a General Manager role are also strongly encouraged to apply. (Less experience will be considered for the Senior/HR Manager title).
  • Must possess a proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Business level in Japanese (N1 or above) and English, Native Cantonese
  • Ability to understand and navigate the nuances of Japanese communication.
