About Our ClientOur client is seeking a junior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. The role will be responsible for working on a diverse range of commercial and regulatory matters. You will play a key role in supporting the business on legal issues related to commercial contracts, partnerships, and regulatory compliance.Job DescriptionDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales contracts, distribution agreements, and service-level agreements.Provide legal support to business units on contract structuring and risk mitigation.Support cross-functional teams in structuring and executing partnership deals.Monitor and interpret relevant laws and regulations affecting the business, including data privacy, competition law, and sector-specific regulations.Liaise with regulators and external counsel where necessary.Assist in developing internal policies and training programs to ensure regulatory compliance.Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal stakeholders across various departments.Support dispute resolution and pre-litigation matters as needed.The Successful ApplicantHong Kong-qualified solicitor with 3 PQE, inhouse experience is a plusStrong analytical and communication skills with a pragmatic approach to legal risk.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.What's on Offer
