maintenance of servers, supporting daily operation activities in offices and classrooms inside the Library, as
well as providing support to various events regarding computer infrastructure and operation. He / She
should be knowledgeable to set up new systems based on defined configurations; to set up and maintain
PCs with reborn software; to set up basic configuration of Linux and Windows servers; to supervise Student
Helpers working in IT and audio-visual projects; to source product information and quotations from
suppliers as well as handling internal purchasing request system. The appointee will also assist in handling
project tendering and implementation and other procurement of computing resources. Shift duty is
required.Applicants should have a recognized Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering
or related disciplines with preferably two years of relevant full-time post-qualification working experience
in the support of computer and audio-visual software, hardware and server networking technologies. They
should be proficient in both English and Chinese, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work
proactively, independently and with good teamwork. They should be service-oriented with good
interpersonal and communication skills and able to work under pressure.Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include the University's
Voluntary Contributions to MPF Scheme or a contract-end lump sum payment (totaling up to 10% of the
