- This role is under the Project Management and Services Department.
- Responsible for driving large-scale transformation, data, and FinTech projects.
- Demonstrate strong program and project management capabilities and also banking domain knowledge in at least one of the below: Retail Banking, Private Banking, or Compliance.
- Take on a program manager role, or project manager role or business analyst role as needed.
- Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, plan, and budget
- Drive project execution including requirement definition, solution design in partnership with technology and data teams
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for software development and system implementation
- Create operating models
- Lead testing related activities
- Create user manuals, training materials, and conduct user trainings as needed
- Getting buy-ins from stakeholders including Department Heads
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a program manager, project manager, business analyst, product owner, product manager, system integrator, or IT project manager
- Experience in Big 4 or other consultancy firms is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, consultative, presentation, and report writing skills
- Strong understanding of IT systems, software development life cycle alongside banking domain knowledge
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language to key stakeholders including senior management
- Proven experience in managing competing priorities
- Ability to come up with proposals and options
- Exhibit a high-level of commitment to project delivery, ensuring that timelines and quality standards are met consistently
- A good team player with strong interpersonal skills and willing to work with tight schedule
- Good understanding of and hands-on experience in both waterfall and agile methodology
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Understanding Cantonese is a must.
