For more than 75 years we’ve been helping to deliver transformational programmes across the real estate, infrastructure and natural resources sectors, making a difference to people’s lives and ensuring a return on investment for our clients and their investors.Your responsibilities:Provide onsite monitoring of Contractor (CDP)’s H&S performances and check they are in accordance with MS and Construction H&S requirements.Provide direct advice and engagement to Contractor’s site supervisors and SOs to address non compliances.Review Contractor’s works are in compliance against H&S documentation; including but not limited to – Method Statement, Risk Assessment, daily Permit To Work, Health & Safety daily briefing etc.Produce weekly observation report with record of Positive Interventions and Near Miss observations and incidents to online reporting platform.Produce a Monthly H&S report on contractor performance.Chair Weekly H&S meeting (with documented record) to identify key H&S risk and Contractor’s actions.Conduct regular site walks / site presence to overview the health and safety being carried out on site.Attend Monthly Client Reporting Meeting with Bank H&S team.Represent client for statutory H&S & coordination with Contractor.Collaborate with Project Clerk of Works and Registered Engineer – Reporting into Project PM.Advise PM and H&S Team with H&S documentation provide by Contractor.On Site Incident Management (if required) – Advise the PM on incident report preparation, cause and mitigation review, communication to PM & H&S teamAs necessary, attend out-of-hours site inspections and site meetings; to suit project programme requirement.What will you need?Higher Certificate /Diploma in Engineering related discipline or equivalentA minimum of 5 years’ experience of construction and Health & Safety monitoring experienceCertificate of safety supervisor or equivalentGood command of English and ChineseAll applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
