Interested parties please email your full resume with your current and expected salary to us at [email redacted, apply via Company website]The incumbent is responsible for design and implementation of the database projects in several locations (Cyberport, Tsuen Wan & Wan Chai etc). He / She is also responsible for database security protocols, data protection and damage control for cloud computing project.Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall design and implementation of the database for the system with application and data migration support for Cloud projects
  • Support for application and data migration of existing applications to the systems
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data against loss or corruption
  • Implement and maintain database security protocols to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access or breaches
  • Ensure databases comply with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards
  • Facilitate database design and administration of IBM DB2, My SQL, MariaDB or Oracle Database
  • Design and implementation of high-availability database clusters on cloud or virtualization infrastructure projects
Requirement
  • Degree holder in computer science, Information Technology or a related field
  • A minimum of 6 years in database administration, design, support or related experience.
  • Familiar with database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB SQL Server etc
  • Knowledge of cloud-based database services like AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database.
  • Familiar with scripting languages like SQL, Python, or PowerShell
  • Experience in system programming and administration on Linux or Windows Platform
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
