- Prepare financial statements in accordance with HKFRS 17 standards and statutory returns to the authority
- Support the annual audit process and annual actuarial review, liaise with external auditors and actuary, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
- Assist to conduct thorough analyses and develop reports that provide insights into financial performance, risks, and opportunities, and optimize accounting team operation
- Perform and conduct reports that required by Insurance Authority of Hong Kong on monthly basis
- Prepare the analysis result to regulators to ensure that the responses are taken on timely basis
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Qualified CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred. Student member of professional qualification body is also considered
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in audit/financial reporting in which 3 years of experience in general insurance
- Basic knowledge of HKFRS 17, Risk-Based Capital (RBC) and Economic Balance Sheet (EBS)
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
- Exhibit a high degree of accountability by taking ownership of financial reporting processes and outcomes
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
- Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English
