Schindler Lifts (Hong Kong) Ltd is wholly owned by Jardine Schindler Group, a Joint Venture between Jardine Matheson, one of Asia's foremost trading houses and Schindler Group of Switzerland, Europe's premier lift and escalator company. We design, install, maintain and modernize any types of lift, escalator or passenger conveyor in South East Asia and Hong Kong.We are now looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following position(s):Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assist finance manager in financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis; provide analysis and commentaries to regional operations.
  • Assist and prepare regional financial and management reporting and presentation materials (monthly, yearly, budget and forecast).
  • In charge of month-end closing procedures on SAP including budget and forecast data uploads.
  • Support monthly accounting operations of holding companies and special projects.
  • Assist in annual audit and tax compliance matters.
  • Support finance manager in the implementation and improvement process and controls within the team.
  • Support financial controlling and analysis and the implementation of global and regional financial initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Perform ad-hoc accounting-related projects and tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
  • Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA, HKICPA) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, and attentiveness to details with ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills with all levels and different operating countries
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient in MS application (excel and Powerpoint) and accounting software, knowledge of SAP preferred.
