
Research Assistant I

They will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and be responsible for developing
research framework and conducting research for the project. They will also participate in the design
and implementation of software solutions for multimedia and interactive experiences, coordinate the
production of interactive performance, event and exhibition management, and other duties assigned
by
Principal
Investigator.
Working
off-campus
may
be
required.Applicants should have a recognized University degree, preferably in Media Art, Technology,
Software Programming, Film or related discipline, with 1-2 years working experience, ideally in a
tertiary education. They should be proficient in Motion Strong skills in 3D modeling and design,
rendering and animation for various applications. Experience in relevant software tools, platforms
and immersive technologies is desirable. Applicants are expected to collaborate with cross-
functional teams to develop and implement software solutions for 3D design and rendering projects.
Applicants should also be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including
Cantonese and Putonghua), attentive to details, self-motivated and have good communication and
organisation skills. They should be adept at a multi-tasking work environment, able to work under
tight deadlines, and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as a team.Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end
