- Establish new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers via direct customer engagements
- Communicate new products, offers and relevant market information to customers
- Support plans and strategies to generate new business, increase revenue for existing ones and activate new distribuion channels within HSBC Group
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, which may include team leader, channel middle office, product specialists, to maximise sales opportunities for the bank
- Participating in events, initiatives and activities to capture new business opportunities
- Protect the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile, whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews
- University degree in Business or related discipline
- Experienced in sales, preferably in the mid-market
- Possess strong commercial thinking and business acumen - able to highlight key compliance and risk issues that could impact business performance
- Possess Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination Paper, including Paper 1 & 3
- A team player, enthusiastic in driving and implementing projects, in addition to taking independent initiatives to achieve the required results
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Strong communication skills, particularly relating to business considerations and use non-technical jargon
- Strong problem solving skills for wide range of problems
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese, English and Mandarin
