This position supports product development and commercialization with a fast-paced successful team.Responsibilities.
  • Support the business by ensuring the assigned product category (Shoes/ Small Leather Goods) meets quality, safety and legal requirements for the country delivered
  • Ensure needed documentation is provided by the supplier and third party laboratories in accordance with specified timelines
  • Screen potential problems in pre-production and production stage in order to ensure the product is suitable and safe for sale
  • Effective communication with internal team, suppliers and third party laboratories
  • Support buying team by providing technical advice and solutions for new product developments and product issues
  • Educate suppliers on company’s quality requirements
  • Assist Manager Quality to manage supplier performance and to launch improvement program
  • Maintain product requirement documentation and coordinate with third party laboratory to research and investigate on update of quality requirements
  • Filing all necessary documentation in the ALDI systems
Your Profile
  • At least (Non-Degree) Tertiary education required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience, preferably gained in third party testing lab, sourcing/buying offices, working with textile/ garment products.
  • Hands-on experience with QA duties and testing standard of textile products is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a good team player.
  • Good command of both verbal and written business English and fluency in Mandarin essential.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, responsible, well-organized and willing to learn.
  • Attention to detail and good organizing, coordination and planning skills.
  • General knowledge of MS office and Exchange essential.
  • High level of maturity, integrity, trustworthiness.
