Variety - the Children's Charity Hong Kong Limited (Variety HK) is a registered charity (91/14278) and the local chapter of Variety International, an international charitable organization. It was established in 2015 based on a vision that every child deserves a future without limits. Through raising funds locally, we identify the gaps in unmet needs of disadvantaged children, to provide access to opportunities, to empower them to develop and live to their full potential.About Butterfly ProgrammeLaunched in 2016, the programme provides early mental health assessment and interim medical or psychiatric treatment for children and young adults from low-income families while waiting to be treated under the public health system.Key Responsibilities:1. Payment Handling & Financial Administration
  • Process and verify VBP payments to service providers, ensuring timely issuance of cheques
  • Review and check invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Maintain up to date and detailed financial records to support VBP audits, funder reporting, and internal accountability
  • Facilitate VBP funder audit processes
  • Monitor abnormalities and duly report to Manager and Programme Committee
2. Operational support
  • Make best efforts to ensure programme and personal data security and integrity
  • Oversee data integrity in Salesforce and Google Drive, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in programme documentation
3. Stakeholders' engagement
  • Liaise and collaborate with different VBP stakeholders, including corporate and community partners, volunteers, schools, social workers, drug companies, clinical professionals, as well as other service providers
  • Prepare minutes for VBP committee meetings
4. Programme development
  • Contribute to overall VBP strategy and plan development.
  • Help to coordinate new VBP programme activities.
5. Other responsibilities
  • Support the operations of other Variety Programmes when required
  • Perform other assigned corporate responsibilities and functions
Requirements:
  • Holder of a Diploma or higher; relevant studies in finance and accounting a plus
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant working experience
  • Good with numbers, and patient with repetitive work processes
  • Knowledge and/or prior work experience with Salesforce and advanced Excel data analysis a plus
  • Good communication skills, mature and able to work with diverse groups of people
