  • Monitor and manage the end-to-end performance of mobile core domains, including EPC, IMS and Datapath, to ensure seamless high-quality connectivity and reliability
  • Design and implement network optimization strategies using AI/ML models to enhance performance across all layers, from RAN to Core to Internet
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytics frameworks leveraging machine learning to extract actionable insights from large-scale network data and deliver regular reports to stakeholders
  • Lead automation and AI initiatives to streamline performance monitoring, anomaly detection, diagnostics, and reporting processes, to improve operational efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and integrating cutting-edge technologies, including AI/ML and industry trends
Requirements:
  • Degree holders or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the Telecommunications industry with a focus on mobile core or network performance
  • Strong understanding of network performance metrics (e.g. BDP, RTT, packet loss) and experience applying ML techniques to optimize these metrics
  • In-depth knowledge of IP networking components (e.g., routers, switches, DNS, firewalls, CDN) and Internet protocols (e.g. HTTP, HTTP/3, QUIC, SSL/TLS)
  • Hands-on experience with scripting, programming (e.g. Python) and working with databases and data pipelines
  • Experience with AI/ML tools and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Grafana) is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with PS Core, CS Core, and RAN is an advantage.
  • CCNA certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese; speaking in Putonghua is a plus
  • A self-motivated and positive team player with effective organizing and communication skills
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer
