- Identify and onboard new broker partners while strengthening relationships with existing ones.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and broker performance to refine strategies.2. Relationship & Channel Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and key broker partners.
- Conduct regular business reviews with top brokers to align on goals, address challenges, and optimize performance.
- Negotiate agreements, incentives, and commission structures to motivate brokers.3. Sales Leadership & Performance
- Set and monitor **sales targets** for the broker channel, ensuring accountability.
- Provide training, product updates, and marketing support to empower brokers.
- Collaborate with underwriting and product teams to tailor solutions for broker clients.4. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all broker activities comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, KYC, fiduciary standards).
- Mitigate risks related to broker fraud, misrepresentation, or conflicts of interest.5. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of broker relationship managers or sales support staff.
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching and incentive programs.Requirements
- 10+ years in sales/distribution, with at least 5 years in a broker channel leadership role (insurance, financial services, or asset management preferred).
- Proven track record of growing broker networks and hitting sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of broker economics, commission structures, and regulatory frameworks.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or industry certifications (e.g., CII, CFA) a plus.
