- Architect and develop a robust, scalable, and highly available Synthetic trading platform tailored for the Asia Pacific region.
- Drive strategic decisions influencing the platform's design and architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate closely with front-office trading and product teams to deliver new features and enhancements with speed and precision.
- Engage with compliance and risk teams , including NFR and other control functions, to ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory standards and expectations.
- Maintain active communication with global counterparts to support collaborative development, code reviews, and strategic planning.
- Shape the future-state architecture , contributing innovative ideas and technical leadership.
- Proven experience in an investment banking environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java , with deep understanding of the JVM, garbage collection, data structures, and non-blocking IO.
- Strong domain knowledge in DeltaOne and Synthetic trading, including order lifecycle, locate processes, inventory management, FIX messaging, and familiarity with Asian markets.
- Solid grasp of distributed systems architecture , with a focus on building resilient, scalable trading platforms. A good understanding of risk and regulatory technology is essential.
- A passion for technology , continuous improvement, and delivering impactful solutions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
