(3) English Language (Post Ref.: 25/213)Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) is a self-financing arm of Lingnan University providing various full-time academic programmes including Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma, Diploma of Applied Education, Applied Learning and part-time professional continuing education programmes to meet the diverse learning needs of society.The appointees are required to (a) perform academic leadership role in programme development and programme quality review; (b) carry out teaching duties, academic advising, student learning support, outreach activities to secondary schools and other stakeholders; and (c) plan and execute programme management work; and (d) perform any other duties as assigned.General RequirementsApplicants should have a master's degree in related discipline with at least four years' teaching experience. He/she should commit to teaching excellence, programme development and management, student advising and promotion activities. Preference will be given to applicants in Post (3) who hold professional qualifications CELTA or TESOL or TEFL certificate. Experience in programme accreditation and quality assurance in tertiary education sector would be an added advantage.Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.AppointmentThe conditions of appointment will be competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointees.
