- Actuarial pricing under different basis, including feasibility study on product development, modelling and assumption setting with justifications and recommendation, reinsurance negotiation, preparing/reviewing pricing documents with limitation logs and expert judgment logs and approval papers
- Annual profitability review, in depth product review/analysis and etc
- Providing technical advice and having the capabilities to explain, discuss and/or clarify with all stakeholders independently
- Monitoring of PAR and universal life business, including but not limited to policyholders' non-guaranteed benefits (eg. annual dividend, terminal bonus, dividend accumulation rate, crediting rate and etc.), profitability information in Product Committee pack, and review of profitability metrics (eg. CSM, VNB, MCVNB,), yield buffer situation & forecast and etc.
- Ensure compliance to appropriate corporate governance, controls, and documentation policies / procedures
- Any other profitability information requested by other stakeholders
- University graduate in Actuarial Studies or related discipline
- Preferably be a close to qualified or qualified actuary from a recognized actuarial body such as FSA, FIA, FAA
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Excellent communication skill
- Possess strong problem-solving skills for wide range of problems
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Prophet model is highly preferable
