interface between statistical physics, optimization problems and machine learning. He/she will
conduct computational research and carry out duties including data analysis, proposal and
manuscript preparation. The appointment will be for a period of 12 months.Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics, engineering or any related
disciplines. Knowledge in computer programming and experience in computational research would
be an advantage but are not necessary for application. Experience and training in theoretical physics,
applied mathematics, artificial intelligence or computer algorithms will be an advantage.Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end
