Executive Officer IIThe Department of Decisions, Operations and Technology is recruiting an Executive Officer to oversee the Master of Science in Aviation Management (MAM) Programme.Reporting to the Programme Director of the Programme, the appointee will be responsible for (a) overseeing the daily administration and operation of the programme; (b) leading the team on course planning, admission exercise, promotion activities and graduation matters; (c) organising student activities and managing alumni affairs; and (d) providing secretarial support to the programme committee. Travelling to Mainland China and Asian countries, and working in irregular hours (including evenings, weekends and public holidays) will be required occasionally.Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English Language requirements set out on the website: ; (iii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) at least 5 years’ post-qualification executive experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector; and (v) a self-motivated and collaborative attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.Applicants must submit their full curriculum vitae and copies of certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications will NOT be considered.Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.The University only accepts and considers applications submitted online for the post above via the CUHK career site.
