
Administrative Assistant II (to be seconded to GBAICTI as its Manager (Human Resources Development & Strategy))

- Report to the Chief Executive Officer and support the management and operation of the Office of Human Resources Development & Strategy (OHDS);
- Support the continuing evaluation of talent needs and the formulation and implementation of strategies on human resources development for the clinical research sector of Hong Kong;
- Support the planning and management of the International Clinical Research Academy (ICRA);
- Support the design and development of training programmes for training and nurturing clinical research professionals of various expertise and on different levels;
- Engage support from professional stakeholders (e.g. universities, research institutions, clinical trials centres, regulatory agencies and the biomedical industry) in planning and delivering training activities;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Holder of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology, life sciences or related subjects;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research management or operations;
- Experience in providing/coordinating training for clinical research personnel is a definite advantage;
- Proficiency in common office applications (e.g. MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint); Hands-on experience in project management, database, graphic design and multimedia applications (e.g. MS Project, Access, Visio, Photoshop, Illustrator and VSDC) is an added advantage;
- Commitment to quality, integrity, confidentiality and compliance;
- Good organizational, project management and problem-solving skills;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Detail-minded, able to handle multiple concurrent tasks and self-motivated;
- A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Proficiency in Putonghua is an added advantage.
