Ocean Park Corporation invites applications from suitable candidates to fill the following vacancy:ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will be the operations duty-in-charge of the cable car. He/she is accountable for taking up the duties and responsibilities to ensure safe operations of the system. He/she will plan resources/budget allocation, devise maintenance plan to ensure maintenance worked are carried out in the order of priority and within allocated budget. He/she will manage and supervise the cable car maintenance staff and assisted them to have required skill sets, knowledge, training and tools to handle urgent system issues and operate all emergency backup systems. He/ she will manage the cable car workshop to ensure day-to-day routines and activities are carried out smoothly and legitimately, manage cable car spare parts store to ensure sufficient amounts of parts are kept to support the equipment repair and maintenance activities and coordinate with other departments and/or outside contractors for cable car related projects to ensure the work completes on-time and within budget without affecting normal cable car operations. Besides, he/she will act as duty-in-charge of cable car vertical rescue drill and implement proper executive of the exercise and to prepare reports on electrical inspection set out by EMSD.Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or higher diploma with substantial experience
  • At least 10 years relevant working experience in which 5 years in supervisory level
  • Competent person of Cable Car
  • Holder of certificate of registration of Electrical Worker (Grad B0 or above)
  • Conversant with good engineering practice and maintenance of cable car system
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Knowledge of PLC with fibre control network would be an advantage.
  • People with less experience & qualification will be consider as Assistant Ropeway Manager
