- Provide hand-on UNIX/Linux system administration
- Install, configure and maintain security tools such as firewall, VPN gateway and sandboxing
- Monitor and manage system resources, system logs, security patching and backup/recovery
- Monitor system performance and ensure high level of performance and availability
- Analyze and resolve problems associated with the hardware and software
- Ability to utilize analysis tools to resolve complex system performance problems
- Perform IT security review to ensure compliance with security standards
- Review, recommend and develop procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Plan and implement IT projects related to IT infrastructure and security
- Provide 7x24 standby technical support
- Degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Must have hand-on experience in UNIX and Linux system administration
- Good knowledge of firewall and security products
- Good Knowledge of shell script
- Experience in cybersecurity hardening practices for major operating system platforms
- Experience in Oracle databases and SAN storages is a plus
- Solid experience in IT projects and daily IT operation support
- Self-initiative, independent with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting skills and critical thinking capabilities
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Able to work independently and under pressure, and willing to work during non-office hours when required
