Job SummaryBased in Hong Kong, the Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, overseeing and implementing marketing communication strategies, both internal and external, and customer relations management strategy across Hong Kong. The position is also responsible for managing and supporting the efforts of external partners in Hong Kong and coordinating at the strategic and tactical levels with the other departments of the brand’s regional offices.Primary RelationshipsThe position reports directly to the Operations Manager in Hong Kong and indirectly to the HQ Marketing Communications TeamWithin the organization, this position has primary working relationships with Public Relations, Content, Corporate Sales and Operations teams, as well as the brand’s HQ based in Singapore.Outside the organization, the position has secondary working relationships with mall and department store marketing teams where TWG Tea is a tenant, and any other marketing partners, agencies or service providers (event organisers, etc.).Job Descriptions· Responsible for conceiving and executing marketing strategies and campaigns that will establish/maintain brand positioning, increase sales, keep brand top of mind within local market.· Ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns and consistent articulation of the brand’s desired luxury image and positioning across all communication channels.· Develop strategic marketing partnerships that drive both revenue and increase awareness of the brand through tie-ups, collaborations, product placements, sponsorships, events, etc. including outreach, negotiations, contracts, execution and ensuring deliverables are met.· Drive special projects and events such as cause-related marketing, customer and product launch events.· Develop marketing communication materials such as signages, advertising materials, electronic direct mailers, catalogues, etc, in both English and Traditional Chinese languages.· Correspond with the brand’s headquarters to obtain global brand direction, design and production of all branded materials.· Develop marketing reports and data analysis to evaluate campaign performance and ensure that objectives are reached.· Monitor trends and inform the brand’s headquarters of developments in luxury, retail and F&B industries.· Be an advocate for the brand’s membership programme and contribute to knowledge sharing within the local team.· Work closely with the brand’s headquarters on customer relations management and best practices.· Coordinate with the respective teams to follow through and resolve product, service or membership issues and expedite correction or adjustment if necessary· Develop annual plans and budgets for the department and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.· Perform ad-hoc tasks such as hosting Members’ events, liaising with relevant vendors and other administrative tasksRequirements:· Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in marketing with demonstrated success, preferably in the luxury retail sector.· Bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications preferred.· Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English & Chinese.Others:· Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal skills.· Extremely meticulous, adaptable, problem-solver and creative thinker who is able to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment· Willingness to go the extra mile to develop customer loyalty and overall experience.· Strong oral and written communication skills.· Out-of-town, overnight travel to Singapore or within the region might be required from time to time (less than 5%).Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Please upload detailed resume, indicating reasons for leaving, last drawn salary, expected salary and date of availability.All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
