Senior Legal Counsel (Common-law qualified) (LRA-SLC)

• Contracts: Draft, review and negotiate high-stakes commercial agreements
• Litigation and Regulatory Affairs: manage legal disputes, regulatory inquiries, high-stake customer disputes, liaising with external counsels, regulators
• Data Protection: maintain data privacy and protection while engaging with internal stakeholders to provide advice on data protection matters, support the development and management of internal data protection policies and compliance processes, as well as draft and review agreements related to data protection and privacy
• Process Revamp: establish policies and streamline operations and processes through technology and automation
• Others: mentor junior lawyers and support General Counsel on any other ad joc matters

• Common law qualified lawyer, reporting to General Counsel
• At least 8+ years of post qualification experience gained in leading law firm(s) and in-house (with a career progression to Associate General Counsel)
• A self-motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and collaboration skills
• Strategic thinking, business sense and good communication skills (Cantonese, Mandarin and English)
• Expertise in corporate law, privacy laws and regulatory matters
