Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with colleagues from various branches to identify synergies and unlock new opportunities for both the organisation and its valued clients. You will be entrusted with enhancing client satisfaction by providing thoughtful advisory services on complex matters such as corporate restructuring, market entry strategies, or operational changes. Your ability to conduct comprehensive research, prepare compelling proposals, and present information clearly will be essential as you support clients through important decisions.We support Japanese client companies in formulating regional and business strategies across Asia, including Hong Kong, through proposal activities and advice on regulations and systems.Promote cross-branch collaboration by facilitating communication and sharing best practices among different offices to leverage existing client relationships for new business opportunities.Enhance client relationships by delivering high-quality advisory services on strategic discussions, business schemes, corporate structures, reorganisations, and other related areas.Assist clients with establishing new entities, shutting down existing ones, or relocating operations by providing well-researched advice tailored to their specific needs.Identify new business opportunities and potential partners through diligent research and proactive engagement with industry stakeholders.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws, and regulations to ensure all advice provided is accurate and beneficial for clients.Conduct thorough research and prepare detailed proposals in a timely manner, presenting relevant materials clearly and effectively to clients as required.Organise industrial site visits and tours for clients to deepen their understanding of local markets and foster stronger business connections.Undertake ad-hoc tasks and special projects assigned by managers, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to evolving business needs.What you bring:To excel as an Analyst within MUFG’s Japanese Corporate Banking Division in Hong Kong, you will bring not only academic credentials but also hands-on experience gained through internships or similar roles within consultancy or professional services. Your multilingual abilities—particularly fluency in Japanese, English, and Mandarin—will enable you to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients across borders. Familiarity with Japanese corporate culture will help you navigate complex situations sensitively while your understanding (or eagerness to learn) of Chinese regulatory requirements ensures compliance in all advisory activities. Your proven track record of preparing insightful reports or persuasive pitches will be invaluable as you support strategic decision-making processes.
