Posting Date: 2025-08-25Informa Markets Asia LimitedCreative Director, Branding & ExperienceJOB SUMMARY:The Creative Director is responsible for partnering with key internal and external teams to ideate, create, manage development, and deliver creative assets to support projects, initiatives, and campaigns for all Informa Markets exhibition, portfolio and brands. This role collaborates early and often with internal Exhibition, Content, Sales, Visitor Promotion and Marketing Communications teams to see their vision through to completion.This role requires the ability to source, initiate, and develop working relationships with new creative and production vendors, as well as strengthening partnerships with current vendors, to conceive and execute highly impactful creative that elevates SFV brands and aligns to marketing, content, brand, and business objectives.The Creative Director will ensure consistent design, look, and feel of various marketing and promotional materials for events and publications, including web, email marketing and social media campaigns, as well as print marketing, editorial design and everything in between. They should possess passion & experience working with and thinking through the interfaces and user experience.The ideal candidate will be forward thinking, collaborative, highly creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage a variety of external agencies, vendors, and partners to deliver on-brand, engaging creative on time and on budget.We want someone who can push the boundaries of two-dimensional marketing and advertising strategies to design a deeply immersive visual, product, customer and onsite experience, aligned with the business’ strategic goals.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the regional brand creative team to support new launches and existing event experience revamp
- Lead the One Informa Rebrand initiative in Asia, supporting the transition of event branding for ~200 events
- Oversee the development and ideation of overarching design strategy(s) for event portfolio brands, as well as brand guidelines
- Ownership of sourcing, management of external agencies, partners, creative freelance pool; on-going analysis of resource pool to ensure alignment with brand, marketing, content, social media creative needs
- Collaborate actively with brand teams, marketing, content, social media, and other cross functional teams to engage and activate external creative resources as needed and as relevant to marketing, content, brand, and social media initiatives
- Ensure seamless aesthetic across multiple channels, with brand integrity and positioning as a priority
- Project management and active collaboration with external creative resources, agencies, partners to develop and delivery world-class creative assets on time and on budget
- Prioritize work and resources across projects based on short- and long-term needs, establishing achievable production schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production resources as needed.
- Responsible for creative/design budget management & tracking, providing updates
- Provide feedback and art direction to external creative agencies and vendors; continually work to elevate the visual expression of our brand(s), raise the quality of creative deliverables, and optimize creative/design for conversion and ROI when applicable
- Review and approve art, copy, video and interactive work developed by external agencies or internal marketing teams, partners, vendors, and freelancers, ensuring deliverables that effectively address goals and challenges.
- Help strategize new opportunities and improvements for design optimization across various channels from paid social, email, landing pages, and more
- Conduct regular brainstorming sessions with marketing, content, and brand teams, prioritizing strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives that align with marketing and business goals, within proscribed budget
- Execute and modify processes and workflows in order to help streamline work, timelines, and requests, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Actively communicate project updates, tracking against deadlines; apply broad knowledge of design skills and file/asset management to handle delivery and distribution of assets to teams
- Effective presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and organizations
- Consistently educate yourself in the latest design, new media, and creative trends, technology, tools, and innovations
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, additional work experience as art director, creative director, or equal experience
- 15 years of experience with a marketing team or ad agency, driving demand generation across marketing channels such as PPC, display, paid search, paid social and retargeting.
- Must provide a strong online portfolio showcasing recent work that illustrates your process of taking ideas from concept to completion.
- The candidate prefers winning or shortlisted at the international marketing or creative award. International working experience and marketing agency background, by driving branding and diverse cultural into commercial is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; Proactive communicator who is comfortable leading a team remotelyExperience identifying process improvement and being adaptable to change
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
