Founded in 1948, Chong Hing Bank is a well-established commercial bank in Hong Kong with a network of more than 40 branches and sub-branches. The Bank became a member of Yuexiu Group, one of the largest state-owned enterprises in Guangzhou, in 2014. In recent years, the Bank has been actively expanding its business in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China. Assist the Head of the IT Department in overseeing all IT functions within the bank
Formulate strategies and rules for IT service and production operations
Develop technical solutions, standards, and routes for storage, network, equipment, servers, operating systems, middleware, and data center infrastructure
Establish the bank's security architecture and strategy
Oversee the implementation of infrastructure-related projects
Handle project planning and budgeting for IT applications
Supervise production and operation of the bank's data center
Lead incident management for production issues, coordinating communication and reporting with relevant parties
Manage production changes and support services for applications
Explore and implement new banking technologies to improve IT capabilities
Cultivate and build a strong IT team and foster a positive organizational culture

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology-related disciplines
Over 20 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 10 years in banking application development
Extensive experience in banking production operations and system construction
Proficient in areas of banking technology, such as databases, networking, storage, service systems, operating systems, and security
Familiar with various banking technologies, including distributed architecture, micro-service architecture, JAVA, C, Oracle, MySQL, and other mainstream technologies
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Innovative with strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
Preference for candidates with experience in large project implementations, such as data center migrations or core banking revamps
Deep understanding of banking business processes and requirements
Good command of both Chinese and English
