Buyer (city’super - Delicatessen & Cheese)

• Propose buying plan with new merchandise which in line with the business strategies
• Liaise with vendors on terms and conditions, pricing and purchase ordering issues
• Propose the retail price of merchandise within the assigned categories
• Proactively source new products and comply with established quality standard guidelines
• Cooperate with the marketing team to facilitate brands/ products promotion activities as well as design and establish the guidelines for Visual Merchandising
• Monitor inventory level, sales performance, damage, and loss ratio to propose improvement plans
• Investigate the complaints and propose remedial actions to prevent the possibility of any recurrence

• University graduate with a minimum of 8 years of merchandising experience in retail, FMCG, fresh and chilled products is preferably
• Strong business acumen with excellent negotiation and analytical skills
• Proactive, strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to work independently
• Able to handle multiple tasks under a tight schedule and rapidly changing environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong numerical analysis and problem-solving skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good command of PC proficiency including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.
