At Marriott...Be you.Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel located at Hong Kong International Airport is currently hiring an Assistant Sales Manager/ Sales Executive (Event Booking Center).Responsibilities include:
  • Focus on group & catering (wedding and social catering) business development.
  • Works with sales leaders to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segment.
  • Develops, implements and sustains aggressive solicitation program focused on increasing business.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.
  • Ensure business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery
  • Assist in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives
  • Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma holder of Hospitality or Sales and Marketing
  • 1-3 years experience in sales and marketing or related professional area.
  • High motivated and ambitious
  • Quality driven, customers and business results oriented
  • Good command of English, Cantonese & Mandarin
