Selby Jennings has partnered with a Asia public/private cross-over hedge fund with 7+ years of track record. The firm is currently seeking a China/Korea focused L/S Equity analyst with a focus on technology, consumer, and business services sectors. This analyst will focus on identifying quality businesses using a fundamentally driven and deeply analytical approach.Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed analysis of company reports and build complex financial models to generate investment recommendations
  • Track and evaluate stock/fund performance
  • Conduct company management meetings/roadshows/onsite visits and independently complete research reports
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in investment banking followed by 2-3 years of PE buyout or L/S Equity Investment experience
  • Fluency in Mandarin/Korean (verbal and written) is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial modeling and financial statements
  • Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly
  • Passion for fundamental growth investing across product cycles
