- Lead the people team and business partnering with the leadership teams on driving people-related strategies in manpower planning, budgeting, allocation of workforce requirements, employee’s performance management, career development and succession planning etc.
- Build the employer of choice brand in the market and foster a workplace culture that energises our employees to strive for a sense of belonging and pride at the Club.
- Collaborates with senior management to understand the company goals and develop people strategies related to resources planning, talent acquisition and retention.
- Be a strategic advisor to identifies gaps and develop people strategies from data analytics to support business needs and financial goals.
- Responsible for liaising with the General Committees of the Club and to represent management on the Human Resources Sub-Committee.
- Prepare annual budget on staff activities, medical and insurance premium, training and development and recruitment for General Manager’s approval
- Prepare annual salary increment and remuneration proposal
- Propose and implement rewards programmes and learning and talent development programmes that are effective and enhance employee journeys.
- Maintain a suitable climate of staff relations in the daily interaction with staff in order to achieve a harmonious working environment
- Ensure all planned training programmes are well facilitated and implemented
- Keep up to date on best practices, labour law and legislation changes to ensure market competitiveness, compliance and effectively communicate with the General Manager and the General Committee members.
- Network with industry professionals and education institutions to identify top talent and create an impactful talent pool for future needs.
- Manage compliance and overall maintenance of the HR systems
- Degree or diploma holder in Human Resources Management or Hospitality Management
- 10 years supervision experience within Hotel, Properties, and Club industries
- Understanding of Clubs’ ecosystem and governance
- At ease dealing with different personalities, cultures, and hierarchical levels
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Strong teamwork and people service driven
- Well organised, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work to stated objectives
- Good command on spoken and written English and Cantonese
