- Participate and lead in internal audit engagements (or internal controls assessment projects) for various organizations to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls through process walkthroughs and documentation testing.
- Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the risk profile and highlight key risk areas for clients.
- Perform compliance reviews related to relevant legislation, guidelines, and internal policies.
- Prepare detailed and accurate documentation, including working papers and reports, based on reviewed materials.
- Assist in internal audit planning, execute fieldwork, and draft comprehensive internal audit reports.
- Attempt to work independently to deliver high-quality deliverables within established timelines (coaching from audit-in-charge or manager-in-charge will be provided).
- May be required to assist other teams on various engagements such as Sustainability & Emerging Assurance and Accounting & Reporting Assurance.
- Direct experience in internal audit in Hong Kong/ mainland China is required
- Prior team working experience, demonstrating the ability to lead a team and proactively handle various situations, is essential.
- Strong analytical abilities, logical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills (both English and Chinese).
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
- Initiative-driven and adaptable in dynamic environments.
- Willing to travel
