As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Analytics Manager for Advanced Analytics & Modeling team.Principal responsibilitiesDevelop advanced analytics solutions, mathematical/statistical models and predictive models using latest machine learning, deep learning techniques, and unstructured data mining algorithmsDesign and deliver long term solutions for Business Growth and improved Risk & Control by adapting Big data technologies and leveraging existing analytical and computing techniquesFormulate analytics roadmap to deliver data analytics on product & customer acquisitions, customer segmentation, digital journeys, channel behaviors and risk control areasIdeate innovative ways to streamline processes and achieve higher operating efficiency for the bank through integration of GenAI technologiesConduct experiments and proof of concepts to validate business ideas and potential value generationDrive cross team initiatives and collaboration across Business Units and wider teams within the organization to enable “best-in-class” solution deploymentSupport the Model Governance requirements as prescribed by HSBC Group Model Risk Policies & Standards for all new and existing modelsRequirementsUniversity degree in Quantitative Analysis, statistics, computing or a related disciplineProven experience in data analysis, statistical or Machine Learning (ML) modeling, or data/text miningBanking experience and knowledge in commercial or digital banking is preferredHands-on experience with Python(Strong grip on NumPy), R, SQL/ Big Query and Strong Excel with VBA is preferredPrior hands-on experience of selecting features, building and tuning classifier models leveraging ML would be a plusKnowledge on Tableau and experience in working on GCP/ Azure platform is an added advantageAny experience in dealing ML Model Governance is an added advantageGood presentation and communication skill to explain analytical results & methodologies to non-technical stakeholdersA team player with great sense of ownership, responsibility and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer need identification and delivery of superior customer experienceStrong commitment in taking new challenges, self-motivation & perseverance, and creativity & innovationProficiency in both English and ChineseProfessional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantageYou'll achieve more when you join Hang Seng Bank Limited.www.hangseng.com/careershttps://www.linkedin.com/company/hang-seng-bank/Hang Seng is committed to service excellence.
